Well there's a pretty high turnover rate thus far. I've had as many as 8 adults -- down to 3 right now. But tons of little babies the size of a pinhead. They seem to grow. Die. More born. Grow. Die. Ok, I have to stop before I get all "Lion King" on you...

Evertime I see a box of them, sea monkeys that is, I have this incredible urge to pick some up. I just have this fear that they will all die out on me.

I've always wondered what they actually are. They're shrimp, eh? And they're cute?? I don't think I've ever seen a cute shrimp before. But I might just have to get me some Sea Monkeys and find out for myself. ;)

Oh. My Sea Monkeys were born in April 1999. I have not had a new batch. I miss little Ginger, Luke, Ringo, Molly, Debi, Geoff, Gidget and the twins, Heath and Heather. *sobs*

Oh, and I miss Candy and Russ and Randy and Mardi and ..... can't go on.
