Part deux
Ok, looking at the results below now -- one more pop-quiz.

Do you think hosting this event is worth my time/energy?

If you answered "no" to either of the previous questions, are you still planning on looking at (and looking forward to) the photos submitted?

UPDATE: Will you link to it on your site this year?

I put in 14-18 hour days last year with the Boobie-Thon, and that was when I actually had energy. If we're going to raise substantial funds this year, by all means I'll pull in help if need-be and find a way to do it and keep it going. I just don't want to spend unnecessary time putting together a design and maintaining the site / manning the donations if we're only going to raise a $100 or so. I'd rather spare myself the time and headache (and potential flame-storm again) and make a donation in that dollar amount myself if that's the case. Basically I need everyone's word they're going to help promote it and help me make it a success. Thanks again! -Robyn

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Dude. You have other/better things to work on this year. Let someone else take up the gauntlet...and resulting bitch-fest.

Robyn, no one will question the good behind the drive, but seeing as how you are in a delicate condition, the time issue may be the biggest concern. I notice that you put all your effort into something ... but this time, take it easy. Just my .02

I missed last years boobie thon...how do you get involved??

I'm a woman of my word -- and it's something I'm very proud of from last year. I'd be honored to do it all again -- if people will let me for the right reasons and not drag it/me through the proverbial mud just because they can. It's easy to get involved. You can either link it, donate to it, and/or submit a photo when the requests go out.

Ok, so here's my two cents: I think it's an amazing worth-while cause, I think that you did a great job last year and I think it's worth it.

However, it's not worth stressing yourself out over, you know? Take care o' you. :)

Do I think it would be worth your time/effort? Absolutely. Do I think you should expend that time/effort and ignore all personal costs? Absolutely not.

If you (or anyone else) do it, I'll donate what I can. I'll do what I can to send the support of all 4 readers of my site. I'll gladly take on the task of looking at boobie pics and try to match them (unsuccessfully, I'm sure) to names. But if it doesn't happen, I'll just visit last years Boobie-thon in memorial.

We all know you made a promise and are as good as your word. Anybody that can't understand why you wouldn't have the time or energy to keep that promise isn't very charitable anyway.

My opinion: I'd be happy to make a donation and contribute a photo, as well as help out with the project. But I remember when I was pregnant (and you and I experienced similiar issues) and I know firsthand that you need REST. That's first and foremost. I say let it go and hand it off to someone who can devote the time and energy required to do it right. If that person doesn't exist, know that you did a great thing last year and move on. You can't sacrifice your own health, sanity and *happiness.* Enjoy your pregnancy. That's your only concern.

as much shit as you took for it last year, i know how proud it made you. so i'd say go for it, but get a whole bunch of co-hosts so you can rest. take admin and hostess wit' da mostess roles and let others do the dirty work.

and get someone else to pre-approve your comment submissions for the next, um, year, and quietly rip ass and ip ban for you when necessary.

as for only making $100, am i correct in thinking that offering more risque pictures and/or desktops for high bids was a large part of the income last year? are you opposed to doing that again?

if you start to stress, you know we're going to have to send a posse after your ass, right?

I'm giving $ and spreading links again this year.

Just MY .02 (you'll raise a wad o' cash just from everyone's 2-cents), but I gave my money last year to get Statia to Florida. That the excess went to a worthy cause was gravy.

If you choose to do it, that's your bidness. But like Seki said, you've got better things to expend energy on this year than fighting off the morons that will come, no matter how much you don't want them to. You don't need the grief.

I'd help out any way I could.

Well, assuming it's not when I'm travelling around the east coast. Then I can just provide money and breasts.

Let me join the chorus of friends who are begging you to sit this year out. Whatever your decision, of course, you can count on my support... but I really wish you'd consider spending the next few months stress-free.

You owe your family a LOT more than you owe any readers or charities.

with the little traffic I get I'll do what I can. But realy don't kill yerself over it! If you don't do it someone will!
