Smack my bitch up
Just a quick reminder as the "not as big as they claimed small-name-site hackfest" has kicked off...back up those sites! Because legit-threat or not this time around, it could be you the next... (Reminders via Venomous Kate and suburban blight.)

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

CNN also calimed last night that this was a hacker hoax.

Yep, sounds like it was pretty weak as far as 'threats' go...but it only takes one site...yours.

Don't this assholes have anything better to do than to cyber vandalise and waste the time of web designers all over the world.

As a small time web desigenr, this kind of 'competition' really bothers me.

Increased traffic on port 17300, which appears to be a port used in some virus exploit. The kuang2thevirus trojan. I would ste your firewalls to block all incoming and outgoing port 17300 traffic.

Kuang2thevirus is a remote control tool (like back orafice). It infects .exe's. I would make sure your virus checkers have the latest dat files to check for this thing.

I think the increased traffic probing for this port and the timing of this whole defacement challenge are not just coinkidinky.

Because we're all such technologically retarded asshats that we need you to remind us to back up material that we are posting to the internet.

Maybe I should get one of these "blog things"...and a tiara...but obviously, I'm not smart enough to operate my own webpage, because I don't read things like CNN or MSNBC where they let us know that hackers may strike.

And may I just add, when did hackers start scheduling their monkey business? And is there a master calendar that I can pay someone for?

In fact, since you're warning us, how do I know you're not behind it?

That's it. I'm never coming here again. You're probably hacking me right now.

Jane, you can have your calendar for free. Symantec publishes one. McAfee does as well. =)
