Posted: 06.04.2003 If you can't beat 'em...it's really no fun, now is it?
I'm still getting at least one e-mail a day from someone honestly trying to help, but a tad bit freaked out that my site is "broken". I e-mailed Christine after her comment here and went ahead and followed her suggestion. Do you think late-comers will get the hint after they load my site and find this staring right at 'em? At least it won't be throwing up php-error gang signs anymore...
 trying to help is one thing. sometimes people point things out that i wasn't aware of, especially cross-browser issues, and i appreciate that. (sorry, but i just don't care enough to do a lot of testing) what gets annoying is people sending in unsolicited design suggestions or just general criticisms. if you've got all these great ideas, make your own damn site with them. if you just dont like the way my site looks, feel free to pay someone to professionally re-design it for me. or just go the hell away. either is fine with me. ¤ ¤ credit: dave | 06.04.03 at 11:49 PM | link- -this ¤ ¤ I do honestly appreciate the "your site is broken" or "your site has been hacked" kinds of error reports. Especially with the hours I keep. The rest...I'm right there with ya'! I get paid to keep everyone else happy with their sites. At mine, you get it how I wanna serve it.
