It's like thunder...lightning!
There is absolutely nothing better than waking up in the morning to the sound of a thunderstorm rolling in off the Gulf. I'm in such a great mood now!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Glad I'm not flying down there today!

I love that sound. Morning like that I wish I could just stay in bed and listen to the rain fall.

I love falling asleep to gentle thunderstorms or gently falling rain. I fell asleep to rain the other night, with the window open. Pure heaven. I slept so soundly.

Ordinarily I would be agreeing with you guys, but we've had naught but rain here for the past two weeks. The lack of sunshine is giving me headaches.

It's become a test of will to see how long I can go between "rain" entries on my blog. *sigh*

Well I can think of at least one thing I'd prefer to wake up to, but in general, yeah.

I love storms, the louder the crack of thunder and the closer the lightning strike, the better.
Oregon was great for that (but still doesn't beat the summer -yeah, summer- in Kentucky when a storm shook, rattled and rolled the entire hotel and lightning hit the light pole in the parking lot).
I'm not sure if San Diego has anything that will compare, as i moved down here too close to summer. Guess I'll find out next winter.

I can't say I've ever had the privilege of hearing it roll in off the gulf, but I love thunderstorms. I want to live by the ocean so badly!

I'm jealous. ;)

Awww... that's one thing that SF doesn't have that I really miss from Iowa: thunderstorms. :) Enjoy it for me!
