Hey, M&V still don't have electricity, but they just called. We kept the phone on all night hoping we'd get news, and figured since we didn't (with B&D being so close) they were ok.

V said that it literally formed right over their neighborhood but it hadn't touched ground yet. She heard "the roar" and grabbed her cell phone, purse, a comforter and got in the closet. It was far enough towards the ground when it went over their house that it took off some tree-tops in their yard -- but the house is fine. It dropped down 5 blocks away at 23rd and Council though -- so we're not sure if that Sonic we always hit right up the road is even there anymore. After that it took 36th to Rockwell.

B&D were enough blocks away that they're ok. But M&V were SO lucky!

yeah, jewdez and I were at the VooDoo room when that crap started, the police were in the streets telling us to take shelter. That'll sober you up. This is really getting old quick.
