[slow mo] Noooooooooooo [/slow mo]
Todd made me login to publicly state that we will never, EVER consider him a Buccaneer -- much less cheer for him. What was Chucky thinking? Ugh. Expect the two of us to be bringing some very interesting signs to training camp this summer...

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

LMFAO... no really, we're getting off the computer now, really we are, ok, don't try to stop us... hehheeeeee

ahem... I think Todd needs a site of his own. =] speaking of... how is he doing being so far away from his blue glowing goodness?

Oh my, HIS name is not even allowed to be spoken in my house, even in a negative sense (I prefer to use "the loser of all loser asshorns") I don't think I could have handled him going to one of MY teams. Although I have a couple of "teams", my SOONER PRIDE comes first always!!!! Not a Buc fan but never had anything against them...well, not until now! Good luck!

Heh heh heh heh heh....

What a conundrum for a Sooner/Buc fan! I guess the only way out of this one is to disown him.

resisting... urge... to gloat...

I swear I'm not a jerk. You just talk so much trash about my Longhorns that it's hard not to respond.

R - I don't want this to end up being one of our football talks that ends up spanning three/four websites (it's still April - we can do that in August!)

Our guys need a quarterback. He's a quarterback and ((gulp)) the best on the board when they picked. If Gruden & Co. think he's got a little something, that's good enough for me. They've earned a lot of latitude at One Buc Place.

Miller's probably not going to be #3 with that shoulder problem. He certainly doesn't have Simms' arm strength. And please don't get me started on Matthews.

Besides, since we're wearing a reddish uniform, Simms ought to hit quite a few of our guys in stride. :)

Had to admit, I was thinking of you two this morning. Especially after seeing that huge picture on the second page of the Sports section. I am sooooooo sorry!!

I *knew* there was a reason I never could bring myself to be a Bucs fan!

ROFL! How's *that* for irony-- our nightmare has now become yours! But the damage to us will still last at least as long as Mack Brown is UT's coach, because I have decided that for his spinelessness in not playing the best player, he now wears around his neck "the curse of the Major"...

aw, poor chrissy... did you see that he was pissed at being taken so low? sorry girlie, but that's what happens when people "in the know" can tell you're vastly overrated, despite what the media says...

Oh the horror! I had to cringe when I saw Gruden took Chris because I knew "somebody" was having a meltdown in Florida! Come on Robyn, you have always sung the praises of Coach G, surely you can see that he is a smart guy and saw a bargin and took it..........or maybe he is just a real dumbass who just lucked into a Superbowl win....hmmmmmmmmmm

I think Gruden is a coaching genius, but unfortunately I also think his downfall is the "God complex" he has when trying to reform QBs. Some people -- like Rob Johnson -- just aren't rehabilitation candidates. I'm hoping and praying for the Bucs' sake that Chrissy isn't our second failed science experiment. Otherwise, we wasted one of our best draft picks.

The good news is, Chrissy is very good at hitting players in red jerseys.

Not to put ideas in anyone's head, but an enterprising Web designer would create a parody of the SIMS game that features only a blond-headed quarterback running around, getting routinely sacked and being intercepted like an Iraqi Scud.

Like I said, I don't want to influence anyone.

well, if you take jeff's idear, you could have the iraqi minister of information as chrissy's press agent:

"he's the best quarterback in the draft... he's got great genes... he's a guy who comes up big in big games."

The good news is, Chrissy is very good at hitting players in red jerseys.

Ha! That's awesome.

Man, sucks to be you guys!
Did you notice who the Broncos drafted in round 4 (2 rounds before chrissy)?
That's right, none other than Q. himself. And given the Broncos track record with RBs it seems like a great place for him to develope.
