Is it any wonder I'm sane at all
Yeah, I'm a closet Styx fan, too. Wanna make somethin of it?

Lyrics: Too Much Time On My Hands, by Styx

Sitting on this barstool talking like a damn fool
Got the twelve o'clock news blues
And I've given up hope on the afternoon soaps
And a bottle of cold brew
Is it any wonder I'm not crazy?
Is it any wonder I'm sane at all?

Well I'm so tired of losing
I got nothing to do and all day to do it

I go out cruisin' but I've no place to go
And all night to get there

Is it any wonder I'm not a criminal?
Is it any wonder I'm not in jail?
Is it any wonder I've got.....

Too much time on my hands
It's ticking away with my sanity
I've got too much time on my hands
It's hard to believe such a calamity
I've got too much time on my hands
And it's ticking away from me

Too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands

Well, I'm a jet fuel genius
I solve all the world's problems
Without even trying

I have dozens of friends
And the fun never ends
That is, as long as I'm buying

Is it any wonder I'm not the President?
Is it any wonder I'm null and void?
Is it any wonder I've got.....

Too much time on my hands
It's ticking away at my sanity
I've got too much time on my hands
It's hard to believe such a calamity
I've got too much time on my hands
And it's ticking away from me

Too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands.....

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

I've listened to my Greatest Hits CD so many times, it's starting to wear out. Mr. Roboto skips about halfway through, and Crystal Ball has a tendancy to flutter from time to time. Time to burn a new copy!

Not a thing wrong with STYX, I've been a fan for years. I still get pumped when I hear this song. :)

STYX rocks - the new CD (Cyclorama) isn't bad either!

heheheh...when I was around 12 or 13, my "trolling for girls at the skating rink" shirt was my black STYX concert t-shirt.

It worked, too. :)

Just to let you know, Robyn, I removed the link from my site... Sorry about putting it up in the first place. ;)

I used to have a Styx tape that my brother gave me as a child. I loved it. It had The Best of Times on it and a stack of other songs I just loved. Wish I knew what the album was called.

Just went on a downloading spree recently featuring Styx. Miss America has always been my favorite.

I found the album. Thank you Amazon. Thank you WinMX. It was Paradise Theatre and your song is on the album.

I'll be taking a trip down amnesia lane later today when it's all downloaded :)

I had that album growing up, Jessica -- and darn-near wore it out!

This is so funny... two weekends ago, a date took me to see Dennis DeYoung at the Chicago Theater! The audience consisted of mainly 40-something Styx fans wearing Styx t-shirts and playing air guitar along with his songs. Dennis looked like Tony Bennett with his thick head of now-silver hair (a hairpiece?) and a black collarless suit. He had a full orchestra backing him up and the show was being recorded for a live CD. What a hoot! Domo Arigato, indeed! http://www.styxnet.com/styxlyrics/roboto.htm

I love Styx! I saw them in concert in 1983 in Orlando. Loved them.

If you ever get a chance to watch the VH1 documentary on Styx, it's definitely worth checking out.

I love Styx! They were awesome in concert a few years ago when I saw them and Pat Bennatar (probably just spelled that wrong...) at Great Woods.

I've heard they're still great, even without Dennis deYoung.

Oh, in high school two of my friends used to refer to Babe as "the messy song" as a running joke. That was due to the image invoked by the line "your heart is in my hands..." Ick.

I'm a Styx fan that never was in the closet. Come Sail Away!

I only know Come Sail Away because of South Park. You'd be surprised at how much I learn from that show!

I love Styx! I still have Paradise Theater on vinyl ... Styx rocks!
