Y'know, I've spent a lot of time over the past few years complaining about the downfall of music with the emergence of bubble gum pop and boy bands, second wave. But something dawned on me earlier tonight. It's all been a big trade-off. Because we haven't really heard from Kenny Loggins in years. Now I gotta cut loose...

I've also liked his older stuff with Messina, and "Pooh Corner" rocks. Some of that stuff was great. I guess it's just another case of a good 60s/70s artist that should've stopped when the 80s started. The worst offender there: Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship/Starship. I walk into one of the ballrooms, and there's freakin' Jefferson Starship (they've re-attached the Jefferson) playing with dozens of costumed freaks on-stage.
