Sigh. Some people have too much free time on their hands.

I especially like how on one site Ms. Stalker claims that Katy, et al are actually the same person. She goes to great lengths to try and prove this. On another page of that site she goes on to talk about AWG's part time (and only) job as a "lowly library assistant". (side note: The second you start commenting on someone else's current job as being lowly, you lose all respect for me. Working at McDonalds may not be something to aspire to, but it's honest work and if the person is doing that job to the best of their ability then they deserve respect.) Then, on another page in the same site she points out that Katy works at Blockbuster.
If I had any doubts at all about Katy's claims being true, Ms. Stalker did planty to erase them for me. (is it Ms.? Some posts at Metafilter refer to the Stalker as if it was a male???)

It's really odd, sometimes she acknowledges that Katy and I are different people, and then she's all like OMG YOU GUYZ ARE ALL ONE PERSON OMG.

Sad. Hopefully one day she will get the help she needs.

I've gone through somethingl ike this myself. Not on my weblog, thank God, but on some professional online services I was on. It was very freaky. This woman developed an obsession with me, and began harassing several people around me.

There's not much you can do except be public about it, and do everything you can to avoid responding to the creep in any way except to forward things to the appropriate authorities as necessary. Which it probably isn't, since eventually the person usually tires of the game. Although it may take a while. :-(
