Posted: 01.20.2003 I'd have to say it was a good day
My Bucs are going to the Super Bowl, and tonight the Sooners defeated Bobby Knight and the Red Raiders 69-64 in OT, after an amazing last-second shot by Price to tie it up. Time to get back to work, but man that was a great ending!
 Kudos to the Sooners. I love seeing Mr. Knight lose. Helluva play by Hollis to send it to OT. Since I didn't watch the whole game, it took a while to figure out why OU fans kept booing Nick Valdez--then they showed the elbow replay. Ahh! Tech kept passing the ball around, and one second you hear normal crowd, then Valdez gets the ball and "BOOOO!" They'll be booing Valdez next year (assuming he's not a senior)as well. Kinda like the Missou player who elbowed Ryan Minor (I think it was Minor) several years ago. He was booed by Sooner fans for the rest of his career. And GO BUCS!!!! As a Charger and (sometimes) Bronco fan I absolutely despise the Raiders. The one thing about OU basketball is the crowd loves someone to ride. We will never let you forget a bad foul or an air ball! AWESOME game! Price was so good and Bookout was such a trooper!!
