I'm just a regular Joe, with a regular job
Y'know all the "Joe Millionaire" talk going on? Well the opening show gave FOX its highest ratings since "Melrose Place" in January 1995. For those playing along with the home game, I was still single -- and in college -- in January of 1995. I suspect "reality TV" will soon be moving in the direction of "sick and twisted reality TV". Now where'd I put my popcorn?

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

I hate to say it, but I'm half tempted to watch the show.

Though I liked the 1st Survivor - I knew that show would open to more shows that would go bad and wrong (anyone want to marry a millionaire ring a bell?) - I'm waiting for the show of the 50 drag queens who look too good to spoof the dude show down the road.

I like Jon Stewart's idea for a new reality show - "Johnny Open-sore" where women think they are sleeping with a studly Rhode scholar and then it turns out he is a syphillic hobo.

I thought we were already at sick-and-twisted reality shows with Temptation Island?

I think that one's just sick. The twisted part stems from the fact they all think he's rich, but isn't...

And THAT is what bothers me, Robyn...that these bimbos THINK he is rich, but in reality he is a construction worker earning $19,000 a year.

I don't intend to watch this show. But I did see a segment on the CBS *Early Show*, which showed the assorted bimbosity oohing and aahing over some castle that they thought this guy owned.

I feel sorry for women who think that the bank account is what it's all about.

When I met Mike, he was unemployed, and in school. Although he DID get a job, we have suffered from problems with the high-tech industry. I met and fell in love with him when he was broke, and will stay with him no matter what the future holds.

Shows like this are disgusting, and give women a bad name.

I remember watching the Melrose Place debut...I was a Senior in high school. Good times.

Then again, Fox really wasn't very smart. They can only pull this off one time. Surely there aren't women out there who would be that naive to play this game again???

Did you happen to catch "HIgh School Reunion"? It is on again tonight- REALLY sad!
