I think what he did with the whole 'dinner for my wife' thing was crazy, and I stopped reading after that. However, I cannot fault him for the fact that he can post mundane shit and people comment like crazy. They are a bunch of ass kissers trying to get 'in' with a former celeb. That is my take on it anyhoo. I could be wrong...

I can't help it but, I LOVED Stand By Me...And I am a semi-Trekki. AND I liked him as dorky Wesley Crusher. Sue me :O)

i just signed up for that ring too. fucker. i hate him. he gets all those hits and comments for the lamest shit and people send him money so he can take his wife out to eat. uh? yeah right. granted, i'm no tv actor but some of my posts are damn good. who's ass do i need to kiss to get that many comments?

He was a cutie-pie in "Stand By Me" -- I'll give him that. But there's no justice in this world that River is gone and he's still sucking down our oxygen. ;-)

Jen, I think you are 100% correct here. Mike is a big Trekkie, but has only been to one convention in his life. Was not impressed. And, no, he didn't wear Spock ears or anything like that. He certainly did not shave his head to look like Captain Picard!

I used to link to that blog, but I removed my link after the Valentine's thing. Once in a while, he does have something good to say, but not enough to make me kiss his ass.

Not that I kiss anyone's ass. I hate that shit!

Okay, but I have a question. If we put the little anti-Wheaton buttons on our page, won't that make people who would never hit his site, seek it out? And my opinion is still that the ones to be scared of are the losers that make all the comments on Wheaton's site. Oh yeah, he is an attention leach with an ugly website and marginal (at best) commentary, but blaming him for craving the attention is probably not blaming the correct party.
