pretty!!! i like the garland you're using... looks like beads or popcorn... maybe just red and gold beads. i think that's what my tree is lacking.

jenny-poo, my mommy made my Santa when I was in college!

Statia, do you mean the Disney ones? Those all went on when we got home that Friday night! :-)

And yep, the garland is gold and red beads...

I've been meaning to tell you! We put up our tree last week and the "sock monkey" was hung in a place of honor. :-)

OK, OK.... It is now officially Christmas season. Growing up, we could never put up our tree until after my youngest brother's birthday (Dec 10). My mom did this to separate his birthday from Christmas. I guess the tradition is still alive with me. I really can't get into the Christmas season until my Thanksgiving food hangover has completely left me - it usually takes a couple of weeks. HO-HO-HO Who wouldn't GO???? On with the Yule season!

Wow Robyn, I should have known you'd have one purty tree. It looks really nice, I love it. We got ours up last week, of course I'm not sure why since we will be in China from 12/18 to 1/2! Trees get really cool when you have kids and you get all the cool homemade jobbies on it! I still have some stuff I made years ago. Even got a "UT" that I made out of dough, baked in the oven and then painted. It looks like I made it just...25 years ago.
