When I lived in Phoenix, Arizona I was amazed at all of the connections back to Oklahoma, my home state. Call me dumb or naive, I thought my in-laws moved there to get away from this backward state and anything associated with it. I moved there because my wife said we had to go. I tried hard to keep my marriage together. I was blinded by first love. I have more sense than that, but my brain just didn't seem to work. I'm glad it's over. What a stupid waste of a decade. The only gain is two precious kids.
