I...love...football on TV
In a couple of hours the Sooners will kick off against UTEP. The only way to get the game out here in Florida is via DirecTV pay-per-view. (As a matter of fact, it's the first time Oklahoma has offered a pay-per-view telecast outside of the state of Oklahoma.) Thankfully we already have DirecTV. So the Sooner Club will be joining us at our house around 7 tonight. I've fought some evil cold/flu all week long, and cleaning has been a real challenge. Thank goodness I woke up with the ability to breathe today! Boomer Sooner!

Damn it hard to beat God’s team! Michigan’s offense, what little of it there was looked like crap in the first half and their defense wasn’t much better. I guess I can still hope for Penn State to win over Nebraska later tonight so we can beat them later this month and move back up in the polls – and then again with the way the big 10 is playing maybe not!

Yo..had to catch up with all the last week of your stuff today. Sorry for commenting out of place but here goes:
1. OU: Beagles have said no problem vs. the number they are 2-0 this year in OU games.
2. Pillowcases: I got you all topped. I have in my house (I am 34) a pillow case that I used to take naps on as a kid in my grandmas house. It's ugly, it matches nothing--it survived the bedroom remodeling the wife recently did and it is sooo soft so a part of my sleeping experience...to lose it would be like losing a limb.
3. Florida whackery. I thought yesterday's ordeal in Florida was a diversion as well.
4. Say what you want about our President, and the many struggles he has with speaking in public, but the man was simply extraordinary IMHO on 9-11-02. That would not have been easy for anyone to do with such compassion and professionalism.
5. Gotta go work on my monitor tan some more.
