Go on Canadians, beat it
Ahem. This is for certain Canadian blogs that are always bagging on Americans and their politics. Eat my shorts. It's not always just the red, white and blue -- sometimes you can drop the blue and still be evil, too. Blame Canada (this time). That is all.

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

ummm... uggh.. hangs head in shame. ;)

Hehe. Well, sure Americans are an easy target and vice versa ... but even we hockey and beer-loving Canucks know that no one country has the market cornered when it comes to stupidity. There is plenty to go around.

Besides, our Great White North produced the likes of William Shatner and Alex Trebek ... I mean, clearly, we don't have a red and white leg to stand on.

All kidding aside, this sucks. I say we put this ass clown in the penalty box for at least a few years. ;)

Yeah, I'm certainly not picking on all Canadians here. In this particular instance, just those who have made it their occupation in doing nothing but making sweeping generalizations and slamming Americans as a whole at every given opportunity since 9-11. Every orchard has a few bad apples in it... ;-)

I agree with you both on that point, as Kelly said, we may be a peace loving sometimes overly polite society but the States definitely does not have the sole market on stupidity, arrogance or ignorance. Canada occasionally has more then fair share of that.

Kelly, I can forgive William Shatner, it's Celine that I have the most problem with *shudder* Any one willing to have her? We'll throw in her manager and some poutine to sweeten the deal!

¤ ¤ credit: munin | 08.18.02 at 09:10 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

Well we did give the world Carrot Top, so I think they almost cancel each other out. *g*

Hell ... if you're giving away poutine - send Celine on my way. I'll just give her a big bear hug, which will probably snap her in two. Then, I'll merely enjoy the poutine and mourn the loss of a national treasure. (Barf.)

And, in all seriousness, Robyn DOES raise a fine point about Carrot Top. I mean ... what else is there to say? You owe the world for this, America! ;) (Of course, dare I commit what amounts to an act of treason and confess that Pamela Anderson Lee is ... a Canadian. Oh, the shame.)

Pamela Anderson may be Canadian, but parts of her are made in the US.

And as for Celine Dion, if we're giving away Canadians, I'm all for someone taking Anne Murray too. How about Nelly Furtado? Oooh, oooh! How about Bryan Adams? Take em all! I'll throw in a keg of Labatt's and a crate of maple syrup too.

Hehe, I have the "Blame Canada" song if you would like to link to it or download it or something.

To take Bryan Adams, I'm going to need a lot more than beer and breakfast...how about you take back Paul Shaffer and we call it even, eh?

He might be a Canadian national, but the '... U.S. Attorney's Office said Hudak was in the United States illegally.' It sucks (and blows) that so many assholes reach the US from Canada, but the thing is, we don't control entry into the U.S.

If you'd like, maybe some of us can walk across the Peace Bridge and help out on your side of the border when it's super-busy, or something.

Oh! When we're through ensuring America is Safe, you can take us to Cracker Barrel.

You basically made my point, Mike. Just as the average Canadian is not responsible for his actions -- neither is the average American responsible for the current administration's.

P.S. Ate at the Cracker Barrel once with grandparents. It sucked. Romano's Macaroni Grill or Don Pablo's ok with you?

Ugh ... Bryan Adams, Anne Murray ... I ... I'm starting to seriously consider applying for US citizenship. The national shame is just too much for me to bear any longer. ;)

Ahem,

How about blaming the country that has made it a legal and lucrative business to do private army training? This particular individual got in trouble with the Canadian law once for something to do with weapons, so of course he headed south of the border to the land of the free where everybody and their brother can own an Uzi and a rocket launcher.

Mr. Anonymous (a.k.a. "John", 217.157.139.* because I'm nice) -- you are SO missing the point here. Get your boxers out of a twist. Point is -- nationality has nothing to do with whether or not you are a nitwit. Blaming Americans as a whole for the idiotic actions of a few is just as ridiculous as blaming Canadians for their own select few bad apples.

Get it? Got it? Good. Now -- let's play football. AMERICAN football.

If I Can Be Serious for a Minute.. Don't Blame Canada.. Blame Yourselves.. j/k I am a Canadian.. Well.. The Carrot Top issue is funny... hmmm the term 'ass clown' sounds soo familiar Kelly...

Now really, this whole thing isn't about any of the above. You Canadians are just all jealous because we Americans don't have those flappy heads like Terrance and Phillip. We all know that's the real issue here! :oP
