I'm me. Me be. Goddamn. I am.
Well if he can do it, so can I! Hear me now and believe me later. Man, I hate what my voice sounds like recorded. Please tell me I don't sound that bad when you meet me in person. Pretty please...

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

let the poor man go!

She doesn't sound that bad when you meet her in person.

holy nuts. that's funny, just the other day I was wondering if you were as perky as the pinups girls you choose for the skins ... you so sessy!

its so cool to actually hear your voice. its funny how we all imagine voices for people, and they are usually just the opposite of what you expect. although yours wasn't too far from what i expected. and Todd - well he just cracked me up with that comment!

Sounds odd to hear someone you give a voice in your head while reading. You don't sound like I imagined, but I don't think you sound horrible at all! I sound like I have my nose pinched or something... bleh.

I've seen a few websites in the past that did this and always thought that it was a good idea, but never got around to posting a sample of my voice. I'm guessing everyone will be doing it now, which may not be a good thing. You sound fine, though. Todd, on the other hand, should remain silent.:)

If your blog doesn't go "audio," nobody's ever going to listen to you.

You don't sound at all like I imagined you would. Not that you sound bad, just not what I expected.

They listen to me now, Chris? ;-)

*shrinks in corner for being different* robyn, your voice sounds fine but i have to tell you and anyone else thinking about recording blog entries, I don't like it.
I have small kids and some of the things people write are simply not suitable for kids to read or hear. and if i'm left with having to listen to some of those racy entries, i would probably have to stop reading. kids walk in at the worst times and as they get older, they understand what they read but i can always minimize the screen. recording take a couple seconds longer to shut off. just my opinion.

Must stop laughing....... can't breathe. Ahahaha. To be perfectly honest, when Annessa was passing the phone that night, you both sounded exactly like what I thought you'd sound like. I can't picture you being that perky high voiced cheerleader type.

Always kinda neat to play a bit with the blog format. And Todd's cameo earned a true lol.

Pretty cool. Now, if you just hadn't ruined it by letting your hostage speak...what's the ransom on him anyway? Is this why he hasn't updated his blog in forever?

Ah, but at least you had the sense enough to do your recording without gum in your mouth, or in my case while sporting a beaut of a head cold and sucking on a cherry throat lozenge. :)

I think you sound great, and when I start my karaoke blog meme I insist you participate!

...It's early in the morning, I click on the link, and I thought to myself "Hey, I didn't record no audio? Why does that sound like me?" Then I blink, yawn, and realize I didn't. Recorded, you sound like me... Except my voice is a little lower.

I know what you mean about hating the sound of your voice recorded. Mine definitely sounds different, too, and I don't like it. Poor Todd ... :)

I guess I'll just have to meet you in person to give you my definitive opinion ;) but i don't think your voice is bad at all... my voice sounds slightly higher pitched in recordings than it does when I'm simply listening to myself speak.

It wasn't at all what I expected....it was better! I was afraid your voice would be like a perky, high-pitched cheerleader, but I love it! Todd, on the other hand, sounded exactly as I imagined!

¤ ¤ credit: Sara | 08.13.02 at 09:58 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

kat, no fears here. I don't like listening to my recorded voice. It's a one-time, fun-time kinda deal...for now... :-)

I'm laughing so hard from Todd's comment at the end that I have tears in my eyes. Damn, that's funny. *wipes away the tears*

OH SHIT!!! Todd is so dang funny!!!

¤ ¤ credit: hoopty | 08.14.02 at 12:53 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

What's wrong with your voice?!? Just as lovely as I imagined.
