Director picked for 'Batman vs. Superman' movie: "In a script penned by Andrew Kevin Walker ('Seven'), the two superheroes are allies who come to mighty blows over what Petersen describes as differing philosophies." I'm sorry -- but can the casting department please get more original than Matt Damon? Buddy Ben is already gonna be 'Daredevil'. Do we really need a competition of the two?
I am. I am. I am Superman. And I can do anything...  I have to agree - I don't know if I can see Matt Damon playing either Batman OR Superman ... just doesn't seem to fit him. The article mentions Tobey Macguire was an unlikely choice for Spider-Man. IMO, Tobey was actually a GREAT choice - Peter Parker was a science nerd in the first place and only grudgingly accepted the superhero aspect.
