Let me hear your body talk
Time for a new E! Rank Poll -- this week the "Top 30 Best Bodies". Kylie Minogue made the list. Did I miss the memo? Apparently eating is grounds for immediate disqualification from the ranks though...

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Okay, but who is Tom Welling? I don't even recognize that name?! Hmmm... I had to look on google, and found out - from smallville. Got it.
Fun list, way sexy people on here!

Could they find a less flattering picture of Brad Pitt though? Regardless of the bruises and such, at least one where it looked like he showered.

And the rest of the photos... Half of them looked like they should have come from the worst dressed list.

And then people wonder how I have body issues. On top of the fact that I'm a freakin' midget!!!

why why why why why does our culture have just one single view of what's "beautiful"? sure, all those people are nice to look at -- but it just frustrates me, when so many different healthy body types are beautiful too!

i know, i know. i'm preaching to the choir here. :)

Ok, J-Lo and Madonna so do not belong on that list. Madonna is looking like the sinew I cut from my $2 steak last week and well J-lo I'm not even gonna go into. THey really need to talk to their stock photo department too. Those are just awful shots. And where is my sweet Ashley Judd and Charlize Theron?

*sigh*
and I wonder why I have issues.

for once, i can agree with one of the male selections: sting!

This just burns me up sometimes! **RANT** Bring back the days where women who weighed over 100 pounds won't be called fat! I'm 5'7" and spent the major portion of my 20's with my finger down my throat so I have compassion for teen girls today . . . it just seems to be getting worse! [Sorry for screaming on the soap box!)

I wasn't aware that breast plates were attractive. I thought "curvey" was "in." Where did Catherine Zeta Jones go? Just kill me.

I know that I would have lost in that one a long time ago !

Somebody buy them girls a sammich or somethin.

I take comfort in the fact that I am younger than #2 and only slightly older than #1. Maybe I'll make the list next year. I'll start training today, right after I get some lunch and then take a nap.

Wow. I was actually physically nauseated by that picture of Brad Pitt.

Yeah, me thinks the photo editor is a normal-sized normal-looking individual out to prove the 'beautiful people' have their moments, too. I'm beginning to think it's very much on purpose.

I swear, other than breast (implant) size, most of the women are Barbie clones. Just Photoshop the head off one and paste it on another and you have the same body... Sigh.

And I agree, the Brad Pitt photo was truly scary. Great abs, but he's got a million shots that wouldn't leave you in pain after viewing...

Ironically, once again I don't even recognize 4 out of 5 of these people even. ;) Oh, mistress of media ... guide me. Who the heck is that Kylie chick? And what the hell was J.Lo wearing? Oh my. Well, don't bother telling me who they are because I'll still be clueless later...

Must say... some of them look quite healthy... yum. Wish it were more of them though, I had the terrifying thought that some of them might feel they didn't win because they weren't thin enough... they could actually disappear:(

i've never been attracted to brad pitt, but i've always liked that he looks like he got his muscles from chopping wood, instead of at a gym or from steroids.

i've gotta agree with the comment about the photo editor - that's either a really bad job of photo selection, or an eloquent comment on the subjectivity of beauty.

i choose the latter. and i wish we'd women above a size 6 in there somewhere.

Any list that puts Angelina Jolie that far down ain't no list. Who put that together, Mojo the Helper Monkey and his Magic Dartboard? Bah. (waves paw)

Eeeewwww! The Brad pic reminds me of some guy who I saw panhandling in Boston once. Of all the bazilliions of Brad pics out there, they could not have found a nicer one?

I'm glad to see that Lara Flynn Boyle did not make this list. She was cute when she played Donna Hayward on *Twin Peaks*, but now she is way too thin.

But Halle Berry did make the list, and she is almost as thin as LFB. Why do some guys think that being a toothpick is sexy?

i never thought i had a great bod, but i can honestly say that i am totally not envious of any of those guy's bodies. no, seriously!

The list was to be expected. What I'm still reeling about is that no one remembers the 80's Locomotion Kylie Minogue. Trying to take her seriously is like trying to say that Tom Cruise can act! BTW: where were the little man and his ex on this list?! ;-p

¤ ¤ credit: Susan | 07.10.02 at 03:10 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

Oh I remember 80s "Locomotion" Minogue (and bad Aussie soap star Minogue). Why do you think I asked if I'd missed the memo. ;-)

¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 07.10.02 at 03:12 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

LOL! I forgot about the Michael Damienesque soap stint. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

¤ ¤ credit: Susan | 07.10.02 at 05:03 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

for those who don't know, Kylie currently has a "hit" with that song Can't get you out of my head... so it's not just a prolonged Locomotion thang.

OK, how did a wuss like Sting make the list, and Vin Diesel didn't?

¤ ¤ credit: mikey | 07.10.02 at 12:39 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

I beleive they are using Xrays for pics these days....all I can see are bones.....
