Here's looking at you kid
Here's another list for today -- the American Film Institute's "100 Most Romantic Movies". I only caught snipets here and there, but Todd watched most of the show and told me when to look up. I was quite surprised to see that my very favorite movie of all time made the list ("Jezebel" with Bette Davis and Henry Fonda), coming in at #79. My favorite actress and actor, Ms. Katharine Hepburn and Mr. Cary Grant respectively, had the most films in the list -- each with six. Some titles were predictable, and even more caused our eyes to roll. But all the same, it will be a good list to keep handy for Netflix as repeat season kicks into full-gear. (Article and list from CNN.com.)

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Jezebel is one of my favorite movies too. With lesser actors in the lead roles the red dress fiasco that drives the rest of the plot would have been too preposterous. Bette Davis shines as the Southern spit-fire who lives at full-tilt. Charming as always, Henry Fonda portrays Pres in such away that you can see why Davis would fall in love with him despite his rigidity.

Now pardon me as I scatter over to the Columbus library's site to reserve Jezebel on video or DVD.

Did you go to the website? They have 100 passions, 100 thrills, 100 laughs... Definitely a list worth keeping for those inevitible trips to the video store!

I love Jezebel too.

We been Netflixin' it up like crazy for the past couple of weeks... trying to get ahead for all the times we didn't watch anything for awhile. Even got Friends and ordering M*A*S*H.

Netflix customer service SUCKS. I wrote to them a few times... with suggestions and questions. Nary a response. ARGH. One feature THEY NEED... multiple customers on ONE account. Like we get multiple Blockbuster cards for one family. I want to rate my own movies so I can see what it suggests for me. Paul and I agree a lot, but we also rate a few things differently.
