File it under "sick fucks"
I'm not sure which is worse...rushing to eBay and selling a copy of the only album ever released by Apathy, the band that the alleged pipe bomber Luke Helder played in...or the dumbasses that have now bid it up to $150.00. Not that I'm shocked, mind you, but c'mon. (Article from MSNBC.com.)

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Considering how crazy the eBay auctions can get sometimes, I'm surprised it's only up to $150. Sad, but true...

Oh give it time -- it still has 7 days left!

It'll definitely go up now that it's getting more exposure.

Blargh!

I've read reviews by two people claiming to have heard the band, and both concur that sucks is too weak a term. So really, any dipshit spending hundreds of dollars for some awful garage band assembled by a fool with only a tenuous grasp of the English language and no understanding of political economy will get exactly what they deserve: aural torture.

By grunge standards, the CD wasn't that bad. But then I don't care for any form of hard edge rock. It's a hell of a way this kid chose to promote his music. But then look at his role model, Kurt Cobain. Still, I don't put much of a political spin on the whole affair. The kid had a mental breakdown which happens all the time in colleges. No doubt our Mr. Smiley Face will do time, and for his sake, I hope it's in a mimimum security facility where he can get help. He's no Tim McVeigh or John Walker Lindh. I wish him well in finding a more constructive path in life.
