Posted: 05.14.2002 Serenity now! Insanity later.
When will TV execs learn that the cast of Seinfeld was only funny together in the cast of Seinfeld? Apart. Not so funny. Bye "Watching Ellie". I hope you stay off the fall 2002 line-up all season long!

Remember all the "M*A*S*H" alumni who failed in their own sitcoms? Have you seen Jerry's Broadway routing "I"m Telling You for the Last Time", which aired on HBO? He is arguably funny, all by himself. The Seinfeld curse is alive and well, however. Network TV will usually cater to the lowest common denominator, and that just ain't the case with this show. Putty was in an Aussie movie a couple of years back called "The Dish". It's the story of Australia's role in beaming the images back to earth for the 1969 moon landing. It's a warm and fuzzy movie and a great showcase of all things Australian back in the late 60's.
