Words of wisdom
Just overheard on The Screen Savers: "An Apple a day keeps Control+Alt+Delete away!"

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

The old three-finger salute! With all this Apple enthusiasm in your household, how long before your Windoze machines become nothing more than file servers and paperweights? Seriously, though, are you finding OS X is pretty stable?

I kid you not...what's the only thing I've had trouble with on the iBook thus far...drumroll please... Yes, kids! That's right -- you guessed it! Internet Explorer. ;-) I'll defer to Todd for the tech-end of it though. I'm still in "oooh pretty" phase. OS-X rocks!

OS X is incredibly stable. If there is anything that goes wrong, it is usually an application error, and that usually is IE 5.1 for Mac. The OS catches any faulty progs and dumps them. I'm an ancient devotee of NeXTSTEP, and OS X blends the interfaces so well that everything is more intuitive than ever (at least for me). :)

I think the "oooh pretty" phase can last quite a while. I know they're out of date now, but when I pass my original-style Bondi blue iMac on my way to bed tonight, part of me will still be thinking "oooh pretty." I know the new hardware and the new OS blow it away, though.
