You volunteered to help...and now that it's September 1st, I'm going to take you up on it. I
Your responsibility is to contact the appropriate individuals already linked to find out if they're still interested in having their cause considered -- and also wading through the comments left on this entry for others who might be interested in being considered as well. So if you have -- or know of -- a "blogger cause" that would be eligible for the $359, please let me know about it (what it's for, who's doing it, when the $ is due) in this entry's comments. I'll be putting a panel of bloggers together mid-month to vote for the cause ultimately selected. And if you have time to coordinate the list of potential charities this year, just  I'm always collecting for the National Brain Tumor Foundation in honor of my friend Joe, who was diagnosed a few months ago, and has recently been diagnosed to pass away very very soon. I've been posting updates here and there on my blog about his situation. His younger sister (his only sibling) has also been fighting Chron's Disease, so his family is in utter turmoil.
