A girl's best friend?
Here's a question for the ladies...if your man cheated on you, would you truly enjoy looking at / wearing "make-up" jewelry purchased so soon after? I don't care if the rock is $4 mil. Every time I looked at the damn thing I would be angry and hurt all over again, reliving the exact reason(s) it was sitting there on my finger. In fact, I don't even think I could wear it, to be honest. It would be too painful a reminder. Am I alone in feeling this way?

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

I'd sell it for the money. I'd be hurt, but I think a new house, car, a massage and a trip to a tropical island with all of my girlfriends would help me recover. Yeah I am a greedy bitch.

I like the way you think. ;-) I suck. I would have just kept it in a safe for my kid one day. Can I take lessons to overcome that?

I was going to say pretty much the same thing as Sphinxy... that $4 mil will keep her very warm when she dumps his sorry ass. :)

Robyn: sell it, spend half the money and store the other half for your kid to have one day! The kid won't need the full $4million! :)

Thing is, SHE won't need to sell it if she leaves him. CA law and no prenup. Half. Half his shit, Eddie! :-)

less worry about alimony.

I'd shove that rock so far up his ass he'd have to pick his nose to retrieve it.

I know you don't know me, but two things.

One - I rather leave. It would hurt too much to know my [fiance] cheated on me. Bleh.

Two - your word skin has a horizontal scroll for no reason whatsoever (on a 1024x768 resolution.) Just thought you should know.

Hmmm... I wouldn't have hung around long enough to accept it. Rape or not, he screwed another woman and admitted it. Not only that, the whole friggin' world knows.

I'm sure, after they're divorced in a few years, she'll be able to wear it and laugh as she calls him a sucker, but for now, I'm with Robyn.

Sure ... I'd take it. And wear it while I was doin' the nasty with my cabana boy in the Bahamas.

"Now what's a pretty girl like you doin' here all alone ............"

You know... I think that if I decided to stay with him, for whatever reason, I deserve a new bauble. I'd take it.

It's sad when forgiveness has to be bought. Would she have truly forgiven him without the $4 million in bling-bling?

Thanks Stephanie. Not sure why, and don't have the time to fix it right now. Sorry... :-)

hummm. I dunno, I think Sphinxy and Kitty hit the nail on the head :)

I'm with the gals who said they'd shove it up his ass... Or at least I'd throw it back at him as I walked out the door...

I've lived through being cheated on a few times in the past and I will never let myself accept it again. $4 Million isn't enough to make that pain go away and as you said, I'd be reminded of the issue every time that damn ring sparkled and caught my eye.

I would expect him to spend about $4mil to make up for it, and then I would take that ring, shove it up his ass, and walk out the door.

But that's just me.

I couldn't wear/accept the ring. Bribery to forgive in general has no merit in my mind. However, I would give him another chance if this was his first indiscretion... I'd be one angry bitch, but I'd still try to get over it. After that, if he were to fuck up again, no fault divorce, baby! ;-p
