Toying around

We both just added eight new Holga photos to Lomo-Motion.com!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Okay, my deepest apologies for posting off-topic, but I can no longer view your site properly through Mozilla. I'm not sure if you've made some changes lately. I'm getting a blank page at tampatantrum.com and if I try to view an individual page (such as the link to this page) I get a duct tape 404 error. Very odd.

I can view the skins page and archives page just fine, but can't get to any of the entries. Again, I don't know if this is intentional or not, but I figured I'd let you know.

Beautiful photos by the way. Take care.

I have a screen capture here of Mozilla, and it's working just fine for me -- I haven't changed anything recently:

My guess is that it's the server/DNS issues I warned everyone about earlier this morning. Sorry for the trouble!

Excellent photos!

you know, I totally blame you for wanting (and buying) my digital camera and for the fact I can't stop taking pictures... I really have to stop looking at your damn pictures before I get sucked in any farther than I am... DAMN YOU!

or should that be further? farther? no, it's further... wait, is further a word? yes, I believe it is and that would be the correct word to use in that comment, not farther... i think?

Hmmm, I hope it's the server problem, but I'm not sure how one browser would be able to see the site or the other browser could only see portions of the site then.

I can try deleting my cookies, but I'm not sure how that will help. Odd problem.

The odd thing is -- you say you can't get to any of the entries. The comments page you're using is the individual archives page. I don't use a comment script -- I have it launch the actual individual archive for each entry. So if you're commenting, you're seeing the individual entry.

Are you using tampatantrum.com, or are you accidentally still trying to view blogblogbaby.com? I honestly don't know what to tell you other than it's part of the DNS-snafu I'm going through. You're the only one complaining, and I see the site just fine with my copy of Mozilla (which is what I used for the screenshot above).

Robyn, I was using IE to post the above comments as well as this one. :)

In an even more interesting twist, the site works fine for me in Mozilla when I go to tampatantrum.com, but not www.tampatantrum.com. But again, the skins page and archive page also work fine with the www. in front.

My software programs just like to gang together and torment me in small simple ways.

This was my host's reply:

"She needs to ping the domain, see what IP# it's returning. She could be caching the old version on her local machine or her ISP could be slow to update it's zone files."

No one else I know using Mozilla, myself included, has had similar problems. Sorry for the trouble!

Good stuff! I need to get out there with my Holga sometime this week.

Those are some sweet Holga pics. I was never able to get anything close to that sharp with mine, even after I taped the shit out of it to plug up the light leaks. I think maybe I got a fucked lens. That's what to expect when you buy plastic.

When I get out of this country and back to civilazation of fully supplied photography stores and medium format film, I'm going to pick up another Holga and have at it again.

It's too bad I didn't bring one here. It would have been expensive to set up a dark room, but it would have been fun as hell.

In the meantime, I'm in the digital wilderness.

Love the site.

cheers,

Andrew
