Yes, you're funny -- but if you make me tear up one more time, Dat Phan -- I'm coming to Vegas to personally kick your ass. This is a comedy show!

I think it has to do with the judges. Buddy Hackett is not only the funniest man alive, he also understands the mechanics of what it takes to be funny.
