Temporary fix
Todd is out on a comfort food run to Chili's... Screw fat and calories. Waistline be damned. I want chicken fried steak and mashed taters with gravy. Now.

What's your favorite "break glass in case of emergency" comfort food?

I will literally eat the entire bag.

Oh, Smartfood popcorn so good. Also Mexican food.

But nothing hits the spot like a cheeseburger and curly fries. That is the ultimate.

When I don't feel good I get a Big and Tasty meal at McDonald's, including a hot fudge sundae with nuts. About 1500 calories I'd guess but who cares at those times?? Sorry you're having yet another crummy time in your life. You're due for some big time fun soon!

¤ ¤ credit: Lauri | 05.26.03 at 08:53 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

Korean Bulgogi, my Mother's cabbage casserole (like a lazy man's cabbage rolls) with sour cream, or my potatoe pancakes... OK, that's it... Now I'm hungry :)

I know it sounds strange, but I love broccoli. Cooked with cheese, raw, I don't care. I just love broccoli.

1. dozen Krispy Kreme
2. frozen cherry-coke slurpee (7-11 kind)

French fries topped with mozzarella cheese

Potato chips with onion dip

Ben & Jerry's

You know, it's no wonder I have a gut.

¤ ¤ credit: Daria | 05.26.03 at 11:35 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

Fuddruckers 1/2 lb Works burger (2 cheeses, bacon, fungus (mushrooms), Mother's Mustard and A-1 sauce).

Onion rings.

As much IBC on tap as I can stand (comes out to about 8 glasses in an hour).

And - the Concoction: That hot melted cheese (yellow) with a bunch of the spicy fry salt mixed in (paprika red) to make this striped red/orange/yellow gooey mess that just transforms the onion rings into Joy.

I lived on this one summer, and lost twenty-five pounds. THAT'll never happen again...

Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Brownie Fudge Ice Cream.

Or sometimes grilled cheese sammiches, with ketchup.

In a pinch anything chocolate will do. And of course an ice cold Coke to wash it all down.

exactly what you are having. incredible. :)

Krispy Fucking Kreme.

We've eaten so many in one sitting, my 7-year-old son coined the phrase Krispy Kramp.

When I'm feeling down, I like to drink Coke. I also like to eat a lot of ice cream-- like Blue Bell. But we don't have that here in NC so I will just settle for coke and or TCBY.

¤ ¤ credit: beardog | 05.27.03 at 08:55 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

Taco Bell. And lots of it.

¤ ¤ credit: Kevin | 05.27.03 at 09:40 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

I gotta go with Taco Bell, Sonic, or Braums -- ole fashion banana split

¤ ¤ credit: jewdez | 05.27.03 at 10:13 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

Oh, Taco Bell is complete comfort food.

And ice cream. Right out of the carton. Isn't as comforting if you eat it out of a bowl.

¤ ¤ credit: wendy | 05.27.03 at 10:18 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

Hot buttered toast with honey.

Or my mum's homemade brown bread with some sweet chili sauce & cheese on it.

Wow.

Chinese food. And not the healthy kind, either.

ANYTHING batter-dipped and fried.

Lofthouse frosted sugar cookies!!!

My mom tells the story about how she once - when my father was out of town - got in the car and picked up a bag of Taco Bell, a box of Church's chicken and a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts.

"By the end of it, I was sitting in my car and I was a greasy, sugary mess. I had it all dripping down my face."

¤ ¤ credit: Jeff | 05.27.03 at 01:25 PM | link--this ¤ ¤

Oh maaan, I'm hungry!

¤ ¤ credit: Tracy | 05.27.03 at 01:48 PM | link--this ¤ ¤
