I haven't been to Fort DeSoto in forever, but I hear they've got some great campsites. My kids would be all over that. Caladesi was the site of many school ecology club field trips (loved picking up live sand dollars with my toes in the water) and the causeway there was the site of many sexual encounters. Heh!

I go and eat my lunch over at Caladesi almost every day :O)

I am less than a minute from there...I love Florida :O)

and the campground at Ft. Desoto is SO Gilligans Island-like...

Yeah, we have all these beautiful beaches here, but none of them are clothing-optional. That's what sucks about life in Tampa Bay.
