My little baby sister can do it with ease
I've added ten of my Lomo shots from last weekend to lomo-motion.com. We tried using a new color film this time around (Fuji Superia 400) and weren't as happy with it. Our previous color images were shot on the Lomo film that originally came with the camera (which we just purchased 5 more rolls of). We've been following Lomo sites and forums closely for film recs, and Fuji was one of them -- but for me, it's getting a thumbs-down for now. A lot of the images were just a tad bit more dark than I would have liked and not nearly as vivid as the last batch. I'm really pleased with this one, however.

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

You know...I like that one, too, and think it looks better this way than it would if it were more vivid. The color of the sky is gorgeous!

I wish you could see the print of that one. We had them done at Ritz (who puts the white borders on the photos) and it honestly looks like a postcard. Being unhappy with the rest of the roll was worth it for just that one!

UGGH! I am so jealous of you Lomo toting mo-fos! I WANT ONE! *stomps foot* Oh well. I'll just have to live vicariously through everyone else's Lomo images.

Robyn. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to lomo-ize someone's ass. That's right. Ass. Can you do it? Feel up to the challenge? Heehee!

*snicker* I think I can handle that!

I knew you could do it! Hmm. Would this be the world's first lomo-ized arse? :P

Well Dawn sort of got one... ;-)

Hmmm... I love my Fuji film, even in my regular 35mm camera - normally the colors just zing on you. Are you sure it wasn't an issue with the lab itself? Depending on who develops it (I take mine to Ritz) they can autocorrect the colors. Maybe they thought the colors weren't right and printed them too dark instead?

Ritz tried non-color correcting (originally requested), color correcting, and they printed the pics three times. The guy that did the first batch remembered the last batch and knew it didn't look "quite right" in most the shots.

But if you go here, three of us have complained about 400-film in the Lomo now...
