Y'know, I thought the SAME thing! But names didn't ring a bell...

"Norman Marine Lance Cpl. Brad Dixon, center, carried an OU flag into Iraq recently. He is joined by Cpl. Mike Binas, left, and Lance Cpl. Joe Mosocoso."

YES!!! The guys on one of our local radio shows were going nuts because there was a similar picture in our paper of a bunch of soldiers standing in front of a shot up picture of Saddam, holding a Husker flag. They were like "You don't see that ANYWHERE but from Nebraska fans, because Nebraska fans are such losers!"

So...Nice to see that other states' fans are "losers" too!!!

I hate that morning show.

Pardon my ignorance but really what in the world is a Sooner exactly? As far as mascots go I just don't get that one.

One need only to look to my sidebar, Michelle. Here's the definition of a Sooner.

At least they are flying the OU flag right-side up, instead of upside-down like the GI's from Texas you featured a while back!
