Interehhhhsting...
Michael Moore...will raise even more eyebrows with his next project. According to Variety, his next film will depict the relationship between George Bush Sr. and the family of Osama bin Laden...a documentary that will trace why the U.S. has become a target for hatred and terrorism. "It certainly does deal with the Bush and bin Laden ties," Moore said. "It asks a number of questions that I don't have the answers to yet, but which I intend to find out." Moore has already put a year's worth of research into the film...he'll finish it in time for Cannes 2004...released in time for the presidential election that fall. (Read more at MSN Entertainment.)
This one will certainly be interesting to watch unfold!

Damn you. I started using my BlogRolling Side bard and I thought..dang it, my blog rolling thingy is messed up. Had me going for about 10 seconds...

As for Michael Moore, I support his free speech but his last movie had way too much BS in it. I especially didn't like the part about buying the gun so easy in Michigan. That was faked for the movie. Setup a month in advance by the crew. His documentaries are movies with scripts.

And I'll be darned if he didn't make me feel uncomfortable at the Oscars. At least he had balls to say something either way. Not a great place or time..but he did it his way. I'll give him that.

You crack me up... I was sure the link was messed up!! Happy April Fools Day!

lol... It's 5:00 a.m. and I had completely forgotten what day it was. I kept checking the address bar, checking the page, and checking the address bar again... You thoroughly confused my sleepy little brain. ;)

Nice one. :)

I agree with Sean, make sure your bullshit detector is in good working order before viewing that "documentary."

¤ ¤ credit: Sekimori | 04.01.03 at 07:34 AM | link--this ¤ ¤

Yeah. If Moore can't find the answers to those questions he mentioned, I'm sure he'll have no trouble fabricating them like he did in Columbine. I'm all for free speech, but you shouldn't try to pass something off as a documentary when it's just as fictional as the other movies out there.

So anyway, I read that whole article on the main page, and I can't tell exactly which "pole position" is actually preferred. :)

We'll know how much Michael discovers when he's discovered dead from a "heart attack" sponsored by the administration.

I don't think Moore's going to need anybody's help with his heart attack. He apparently drinks Big Macs through straws. But who knows? Maybe they'll slip Hillary a few bucks to arrange a Vince Foster Special for Mr. Moore. I for one wouldn't be heartbroken.

Cute! I like it!

I had to do a double take on the address bar to make sure I was at Tampa Tantrum. Then I remembered that our Dearest Robyn is a total goofball. I think you did a damn fine job, girlfriend!

And for the record, I think Michael Moore is an idiot. That's my opinion, and I'm entitled to mine as much as he is entitled to his.

OK, so I'm slow. I couldn't seem to get to anything other than NASCAR. I kind of figured is was April Fools (Like the SI issue quite a few years ago about a pitcher who could throw over 130 mph) but I just couldn't get past the NASCAR thing.

Oh, and for the record, I also think Michael Moore is an idiot. As it the movie "A Fish Called Wanda" - "Oh, no! We can't call you STUPID! Calling you STUPID would be an insult to all the truly STUPID people in the world." Check this out for a rundown on his intellectual background.

Nice link, BillH. But of course you already know the standard rebuttal, right?

"Their rich politically connected fathers bought them their Ivy League educations."

Funny how that applies to the folks people don't like, but doesn't seem to apply to all the well-educated politicians they do like, who also had rich and politically connected families.

Well, I feel outta place. I like Michael Moore and thought he was great when he came and talked on campus last year. He even talked a little about the whole Bush family - Bin Laden family connection. It's all about the oil. One of my friends even shows Roger and Me in her anthropology class every semester and her students love it.

Speaking of Mr. Moore, here's a very well done expose' by David Hardy about all the fictions contained in his alleged "documentary". I suspect his Bush-Bin Laden flick will be more of the same BS. I've researched that issue already, and the case is weakly circumstancial at best. And the media has already looked at it and dropped it too. If there were any real, incriminating ties between Bush and Bin Laden, the media and the Democrats would be all over it.
