Me: Hey, can you help me get the kitchen picked up before the water-delivery guy comes tomorrow?
Him: <sighs heavily, puts down laptop and joins me in the kitchen> Yeah...yeah... Me: <finishes the drink he'd asked me to make him> Ok, I'm going back to work now. Him: Oh so I see when you say, "Can you help me..." it really means "Can you come and do it for me?" Me: I said I'm going back to work. Woooorrrrk. Say it with me. You know, that thing you don't have to do between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.? Him: Whatever, you dreamer. Me: You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join... Him: <grabs a plastic grocery sack> Hey! Come here! Put your head inside this. It's really fun to try and breathe when... You never saw moments like this on "Ozzie and Harriet", that's for sure! Yeah, that's much more of an Oscar and Felix moment... ¤ ¤ credit: Tracy | 03.27.03 at 10:10 PM | link--this ¤ ¤sing it with me... love and marriage, love and marriage.. go together like a horse and carriage... ¤ ¤ credit: jay | 03.27.03 at 10:24 PM | link--this ¤ ¤hehe sounds like my kinda relationship :) ¤ ¤ credit: theresa | 03.27.03 at 11:02 PM | link--this ¤ ¤Dude, are you getting The Water (tm), too?? ¤ ¤ credit: Sekimori | 03.27.03 at 11:06 PM | link--this ¤ ¤You broke us. Zephyrhills shows up tomorrow at 8 a.m. with a cooler and a big ol' jug! :-) And because we acted now we also got two fabulous cases of sports-bottled water as well. Also this amazing Chinese wok for cooking Oriental vegetables. But that's not all... ¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 03.27.03 at 11:27 PM | link--this ¤ ¤RIIIIIING! I really do love my wife! ¤ ¤ credit: BillH | 03.28.03 at 12:00 AM | link--this ¤ ¤Heh. I think I see a career in writing romance novels here. ¤ ¤ credit: Da Goddess | 03.28.03 at 12:42 AM | link--this ¤ ¤See, the average guy's response would be: BTW, Bill, 90% of our calls are for my wife and she answers about 40% of them. You see, if I'm there, and it's ringing, I can't just say "Let the machine get it.", unless I KNOW it's someone I don't want to talk to. So I feel your pain. Dude, Verizon One Rate Plan (or whatever it's called) $55 a month covers EVERY calling option including smart ring and call intercept. Also covers ALL the extended calling area (Tampa to Clearwater/St. Pete in this area), in-state long distance, interstate long distance AND even calls to several US territories like Guam, Puerto Rico, etc. You two are nuts! ¤ ¤ credit: Sunidesus | 03.29.03 at 04:10 PM | link--this ¤ ¤
