Pop quiz
So what's one online product or service that you've purchased in the last six months and just couldn't live without now? Paying for Launchcast Plus is just about the best $3.99/mo I've ever spent...in case I haven't mentioned that lately... I don't think there's a single weekday that goes by when it's not on at least an four to five hours. No commercials, custom playlists, and the ability to pause, skip and permanently ban songs/artists is absolutely genius. If only they offered this for automobiles!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

I could see it now - people driving their cars into each other because they're messing with the controls on their radio. ;)

Just kidding, though; I would love something like that for my car! At home I'm pretty happy with my thousands of mp3s, so I haven't even tried Launchcast yet. Maybe I should.

I have a HUGE stash of MP3s as well, but I love this because it will throw on things every once in awhile that I haven't heard in years -- and it's a lot more variety than just one playlist. It's already cost me a few new CD purchases.

I've been using GoToMyPC for a few months now and it rules. It's not a new concept, but it's the best execution I've seen yet. Goes right through firewalls, too. Now I can get to my home pc from work, and my work pc from home.

It's a little pricey at the stated rate of $20/month, but once you sign up they send you an offer for half price if you pay a year in advance. $120 a year is a hell of a deal for me just to avoid going up to the office at night or on weekends if I need to do some extra work, which is quite often.

Also, Ghostzilla is essential if you surf the web a lot in an open environment at work.

I'm not a big fan of yahoo but I'd so like something for my car still!!!

rock on girlie :)

I have the LaunchPlus as well and love it. However, I'm hearing that they don't approve of its usage at work. I'm going to continue using it tho until I'm written up...it is so nice to have no commercials.

I bought a sidekick from Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000078VYT/qid=1047424189/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1_etk-phones/103-1618713-3431032?v=glance&s=wireless&n=301187
Now I'm literally online all the time...yes I know I need help but in the mean time I can't live without it.

P.S. I did however catch a much better deal, with my rebates the phone cost me 49.99, course I haven't gotten my checks yet so that is yet to be seen. lol

Wireless Network - keeps my boy out of his home office & in other rooms with me! And when the cat has stolen my computer chair, I can jump on the laptop.

I paid for launchcast too and love it! I am sad when some bands have no music through them though. Gotta subscribe to your station before I forget!

jennifer- you're right about the wireless network. my wife and i have pc's in separate rooms of the house and were spending a lot of time apart doing work and recreational surfing. Now we can sit together in the living room with our laptops and watch really bad tv shows while we surf.

(it's also nice to be able to blog in the crapper- but that's purely a guy thing)

ooh- i forgot to mention that i just started using an RSS aggregator to keep up with all the blogs I surf. now rather than having to check them periodically, i get a little popup on my desktop whenever somebody updates their blog. sweet. and to think i used to consider those syndication links pointless.

Sob.

I don't get Launchcast Plus, being a "foreigner". I have to settle for the lite version which is good, but I'd like all the extra stuff.
