Dear Diaries
Still feeling like @#$%!, but one of my latest sites launched overnight -- The Gweilo Diaries. Yes, I know there are too many big images (each one used was provided by and requested by the client). And yes I know it loads slow (it's his stats tracker) and the fonts are rather large. I'm innocent, I tell ya'! But I really like the color scheme, so there.

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Hope you feel better soon *S*
I'm on a 56K modem and it didnt take too long for me :) Looks great!!
*hugs*

The load-time largely depends on the stats tracker he's using. It's up and down more than a sorority girl on homecoming night. ;-) Thanks!

funny. (sorority girl comment) :-)

did you do conrad's site?! sweet! i *love* the logo. he showed it to me in an email a few days ago, and i flipped out, but i should have known is was you that designed it. it's very much your style. i've been begging him to get off of blogspot for ages. you did a *beautiful* job, girl.

Awwwwww -- thank you!!

i don't think the images are too big, honestly. he writes long entries and leaves them on the main page for a long time, so the page is very vertically-oriented, and the long images fit right in. i especially like the rooster. :)

I actually took a color shot of the rooster image he gave me and color tinted it back to how you see it now to "match" the design. I'm really pleased with it, too. But you know how people like to complain -- so I just ironed them all out ahead of time to move on with it. Heh.

It loaded quickly enough for me. Love the look.

Couldn't you have snuck my link in there, hon?

So, blaming the customer eh? LOL. You did a great job Robyn. I'm very pleased with it. I just posted my first image which matches your background colors so well you'd think I picked it deliberately.

And, yes, you have every reason to crow over the rooster.

Nice work with a pain in the ass client.

Damn it, and I wanted to be the only vertically-oriented, graphic-header, oriental-style blog design out there... (pout)

Good job Robyn, loaded instantly for me.

Good stuff as usual. I think I will enjoying that site very much. My own 2 weeks in Asia have made me very curious about what it would be like to live there. If only I was 22 rather than 32 I would seriously consider a year living aboard in China. But I'm too old so San Antonio will have to do.

Hey Conrad, you weren't a pain in the ass! I'm one of those flighty, snotty artist-types! ;-)

Well worth the wait (although it really didn't take long to load on my 56k connection).
