In the immortal words of Socrates: "I drank what?"
Aye carumba, today yesterday was hell. Back to, "Oh yeah...a life...that's what that was..." Well, if you consider "life" pulling a 14-hour work day on two website designs, I should say. I also had 42 e-mails in a folder from the boobie-thon days titled "answer these NOW beeyatch". And today, I did. I need a drink. Is it considered pathetic to drink alone at 2:48 a.m. on a Tuesday morning?

But a quick check of my stats led me to here, which led me to here, which led me to this. I'm ashamed to say that I hadn't read Quinn's site until this evening -- but that stops now. Thank you! It's seriously one of the first things I've read in support of all we've done not written by a friend who had to be nice to me and say those things (or they knew I'd revoke their hot tub privileges).

And can I please take a second to tell you Northerners to keep that cold-crap up there where it belongs? I like fall. Say it with me...faaaaaall la la la la, la la la la. It's 41° outside right now, and with a slight breeze coming off of the Gulf, it's frickin' freezing in here. We're wussies. Even the pets are grumpy. So we turned on the heat. We're sleeping under a down comforter tonight. You wanna make somethin' of it?

I lived in Philadelphia during the Blizzard of '96. We had 72" of snow in NE Philly that winter between October and March. I dug my Dodge Neon out of a 7-foot snowdrift with my hands to get to work. I am in Florida now for a reason. If I can see my breath, the weather should not be here. There's a cool meteor shower going on outside supposedly, and I don't want to dig out my thermals to watch it.

Oh well. We could all join the MSNBC.com gossip pages and make a blogger-pool on how long Jenn and Ben will stay married. My money is on 18-24 months. Because even if they aren't even in the same house after two weeks, I don't think she'll want to admit to the world that she failed again. Or, I could be wrong. Perhaps she just enjoys the decorations bought at Tiffany?

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

yanno what? i'll bet that jen n ben's marriage lasts longer than most people would think. why? for one thing, it's great for both of their careers. for another, since we know that she thinks her bio clock is ticking, and that she wants a baby, and that she's got her "family values", she'll stay with him at least for a little while (since they're gonna try to have a honeymoon baby).

i give 'em... hm... 6 years, starting from when they get married (val day 2003).

Really? You're a lot more generous than I am! I just don't see them in Bruce/Demi or Meg/Dennis territory before they have a split.

I was more than happy to offer a few simple words of support for a really cool thing.. and I'm really surprised you had to defend yourself more than once last week. Some people just have small penises. Eff 'em.

And I didn't know that SaveKaryn lives in Brooklyn... I just visited there a few weeks back to go see Erin at Gigglechick.com.. we should stopped by and slagged her (smack - this is from Aint too proud to blog! Smack - this is from Pizza Dreaming.. etc) Ah well.

And you uh, can certainly send me, cough, any special edition wallpapers.. or whatever.. you have in hand...
:)

I hope her marriage doesn't last more than a few months. I don't want to have to wait that long. I'll be too old for any grab-ass.

Quinn's site is pretty cool. Thanks for pointing us towards it.

Ben and J-LO. Who knows. But I do agree that it won't last. I say 2 years.

I think the blizzard of '96 was the year we got 15" of snow in VA, and were out of school for TWO freakin' weeks. Southerners just can't handle the white stuff.
