We've got spirit - yes we do!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

heh, if you could just teach Claire to say Boomer Sooner.

Oh but she can -- did we forget to show you? ;-)

I'm mildly disturbed that there *is* a Tampa Bay Sooner club. Then again, there was(is?) a Husker store in Estes Park, CO. That was bizarre.

I’m thinking that OU won’t be number three in the polls after that poor showing against a non-ranked team at home, but I could be wrong…

I just noticed that OU doesn’t even play a ranked team (Texas) until October 16th, Sup with that? Are they scared or something – LMAO. Sorry I’m just playing. By the way I’m a Michigan fan and we opened against a 9 ranked team and were on the road to Notre Dame (ranked 24th) next week. You might want to keep this URL handy http://www.mgoblue.com/football/ as Michigan rolls this year!

Hmm, next time I get back down there, you'll have to show me. ;o) I think there was so much company, she wasn't sure who she should shake her ass for next.

I agree with Statia... I need to see that!! Claire is so just the cutest (and you too)!! :)

I'm a card-carrying member of the OU Club of Puget Sound (WA state) and you guys have it going on. I just watched the game from home although there was a watch party, so I guess it's my own damn fault after all.

There are several Sooner Clubs throughout the U.S. -- not just in Tampa Bay. Our club is very strong and we sometimes boast 30+ people at watch parties, however.

And Mister Mittens, Bama has been on our schedule since around '95-'96. At the time they were very much a ranked team. And regardless of rank, any time you play Bama don't expect a cakewalk. That said, I fully expect us to drop in the polls -- as well we should. Just read my game analysis if you doubt that.

And if you're calling us scared of ranked teams -- especially texas -- I point you towards our performances against them in '00 (63-14) and '01 (14-3). The announcer quote from 2000's game was, "The eyes of texas have been blackened." The announcer quote from '01 was, "So I ask you ladies and gentlemen, why was texas favored coming into this game?"

By the way, we played (and barely lost to) Notre Dame early in the '99 season. And next year, our first games include Bama (at Bama), UCLA, and Fresno State. And I'd take on Michigan any day. I wholeheartedly invite them to take on the Big XII. Bring. It. On.

You're not talking to a 'regular' girl here...

you are just so gosh-darned cute.

Oh by the way, the new polls are out and OU's rank remains unchanged. We're #2 in the AP and #3 in the Coaches Poll.

Congratulations - Looks like you guys got lucky in the polls! And we last played Alabama in the Orange Bowl - Jan. 01, 2000 - Michigan 35, Alabama 34 (OT)

Look what I found at the college football statistics site: http://wajl10.com/

Michigan is (0-1) against Oklahoma.

See I can dish out the crap, but I’m fair about it.

I currently live in Nebraska (no I’m not from here, thank god) and I can’t believe what kind of freaks they are. I mean they made a big deal out of beating Utah State yesterday 44 to 12, Utah State has not won a game yet and they lost to Utah 23 to 3 at home. Then there’s Troy State who they played last week, and Troy State is 0 and 2 also, they lost to UAB! And then there is the season opener against big bad Arizona State, they were 4 and 7 last year. And let’s not forget that power house, McNeese State; they must be a real good team because Nebraska has to play them at home too. Someone please tell me who McNeese State is? I think the University of Hooked On Phonics beat them last year - LMFAO

This is the crap I have to put up with - picture this if you can, it’s a true story:

Last year I’m in I’m out cutting my front yard about 09:00 AM and my next door neighbor comes running out of his house dressed in just his bathrobe, waving a Cornhusker flag and screaming that they are going to the Rose Bowl. At that point I decided that it was time to move to a normal state (out of the Midwest) I can’t let my kids grow up here!

I never really cared much about college football until I moved to Nebraska (not my choice, I was in the Air Force) I can still remember my first day here when someone asked me where I can here from and I answered Mississippi ((no I’m not from there either) and they made fun of Mississippi, and I reminded them that Mississippi had three division 1A football teams and from then on it was also fun to pick on the poor Husker fans. It’s really not their fault they just don’t have anything else going for them in this worthless state but Husker football – I’m mean they set their all time attendance record yesterday for the Utah State game, that should explain it all. Damn I can’t believe I blabbed that much - it was nice chatting with you. later

Okay Mister Mittens...Bite me. I'm a born and bred Husker fan FROM Nebraska, thank you very much. Yeah, we get excited about our football, but as you pointed out, there's a general lack of professional sports in this state to heap our love upon. So, if you don't like, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. And just to show you how truly wonderful we Husker fans are, we'll help you move your pansy ass outta the state.

love your hair! when did you get it cut and highlighted? i bet i missed it when you did it.

Thanks Kathy! The haircut was actually a recent disaster I'm just now figuring out how to deal with -- but I've had the highlights for quite awhile now.
