Posted: 07.31.2002 Desperately seeking Sonic  This is in our county! This is not (and is almost an hour away) -- but the article states, "Sonic Drive-In and its franchisees plan to build as many as 60 of the nostalgic drive-in hamburger restaurants in the greater Tampa Bay region."I am seriously about to throw a Cartman-sized hissy fit right now. "Buuuuuut mommmm -- I waaaaant a chili cheese coneeeeey and cherry li--iii--iime-aaade." We've been patient and good little Oklahomans (where the drive-in chain originated and is headquartered) for five years now. I'm tired of driving to Orlando and Ocala. I want my own Sonic noooooow dammit!  I just love my Sonic! There is one close to my office...but not one close to home. Hope you get your Sonic soon!!! When I first started to be able to keep fluids down a couple of months ago(due to the hyperemesis) the first thing I could really  -this ¤ ¤ Oh man. I used to love the one when I lived in Tallahasse. Now I am here in the Great White North and not a one. We just got our first Krispy Cream (and I still have to drive over an hour for that!) Being from California I had never been to a Sonic before and I was hooked from the very first visit. I LOVE the fact that I can continue to look at the menu in my very own little stall after I pay and as I eat. Isn't that stupid? I guess I never knew what I was missing when the heavens spoke and told me to pull forward and pay at the first window. Plus, I am so waiting for one of those girls on rollerskates to eat the front end of my car and catapult my lunch onto my windshield.
