Sounds like somebody's gotta case of the Mondays

So this is how my Monday is going thus far thanks to the lovely folks at Microsoft... And you?

(sigh) I'm in Mac heaven at work, but I'll be feeling the pain of Windows 98 when I get home.

Are you sure your not on my machine? It's crashed 3 times today. Ready to throw it off the second story here.

XP is more stable than 2000. I've run both, and XP wins. Although 2000 is more stable than 98SE, which for a web designer, was a real pain in the arse. Having Dreamweaver and Photoshop running together was trouble, and to add Illustrator to the bunch, forget it.

This is God. Kill Bill Gates and switch to Linux. That is all.

(Wishing I had enough money to get a copy of RedHat...)

It's not my computer (I have an iBook) so I'm at the mercy of the OS that Todd wants installed. He's got the better video card and obviously his monitor is clearer than my LCD screen -- so all I can do is bitch when I'm designing on here. And believe me, I do so. A lot.

that looks vaguely familiar! ;) Gawds I hate microsoft some days... make that most days.

heh, next time I get a Blue Screen of Death (about three times daily), I'll have to take a pic like that for posterity...

Haha <devil's advocate> I actually like Windows 2000 - a LOT more than Windows 98. For the most part (except with certain games), I don't have any problems with win2k - and I leave my computer on 24/7 for weeks at a time. </devil's advocate> That said, I wouldn't mind having a nice powerful dual 1gHz g4 running OS X :) (Oh, and win2k has been a little pissy lately with Neverwinter Nights, but I think it might be the fault of the game.)

Oh my god, my company still has us on Windows 95 on p2's. It's like getting a proctology exam everyday!

*bows down*
Right on the money.

Although I'm jealous, you don't have to live with Windows98. Which makes me want an iBook even more.

Geeze, maybe there's some sort of glitch that's programmed into win2k... Mine went nuts on me this morning. Mind you, giving the screen the finger wasn't the gestures I was giving it. Would have needed an audio file. And I assure you, it was far from PG.
