Now that's dedication to your porn -- a quadriplegic in West Palm Beach has sued the Wildside Adult Sports Cabaret, charging that it violates the Americans with Disabilities Act because the lap dance room does not have wheelchair access. Law also sued another West Palm Beach strip club, The Landing Strip. (Story from Local6.com.)
that is really pathetic. i know the ada provides for the handicapped, but c'mon, if he wins this suit then all the strip joints in tampa need to be turned legal for lapdances again. the 6 foot rule should come down. tit for tat so to speak...lol ¤ ¤ credit: kat | 07.15.02 at 04:59 PM | link-Well.. um.. good for him and fighting for his rights... I guess. ¤ ¤ credit: John Kenneth Fisher | 07.15.02 at 06:04 PM | link-I am reading this at work on my pocket pc thanks to your generous offering at AdvantGo. Pretty cool, I can take sites like yours with me wherever I go...like right now as I am in the last stall in the men's room--and they say men don't waste time at work in the bathroom...anyway, now that you know all that you really need to know about me...just thought I would let you know that it occured to me that there is not wheelchair access to this restroom (should I sue and take over my business and make all my co-workers and bosses slave away and work for me?) *Everybody back to work, I will be in the bathroom reading my palm if you need me, but it better be important* p ¤ ¤ credit: peat | 07.15.02 at 07:15 PM | link-Cool that you've got me on the go peat, but TMI! TMI! ;-) ¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 07.15.02 at 07:25 PM | link-Alrighty then... since I don't anything to contibute regarding the story, I will instead attempt to be funny.. I once took care of a quadriplegic he would say he couldn't get hard but his tongue always did, boy did he love the girley bars. ¤ ¤ credit: shelli | 07.15.02 at 07:47 PM | link-I think this bloke is taking it just a tad too far. Like the club owner said, he could have had a lap-dance in another part of the club had he asked for it. While I believe that essential services should be obliged to provide wheelchair access, sometimes small business just can't afford to be doing stuff like that. Good on those who do, but those who don't shouldn't be sued for not allowing a quad a blow job or a lap dance. What is this world coming to??? In Australia at the moment, public liability insurance is getting so expensive (policies are jumping 300% and 400% in a year) that small businesses everywhere are closing because of it. And this idiot doesn't help matters ....... /me steps off my soapbox. ¤ ¤ credit: Joanne | 07.16.02 at 12:46 AM | link-I'm having a Beavis and Butthead moment... Joanne said "coming to". Huh huh huh, that's cool. ¤ ¤ credit: Susan | 07.17.02 at 01:09 AM | link-
