Watch out! Hell yeah...
So...ever wonder what it's like to be married to one of us? We were listening to "The Eminem Show" in the car the other day, and I mused, "Ya' know, I would love to have Dr. Dre as a friend. I'd just come up with reasons to make him say 'hell yeah' all the time. 'Hey Dre. You want a Coke?' 'Hell yeah.' 'How 'bout some nachos?' 'Hell yeah.' 'Wanna play Nintendo?' 'Hell yeah.' 'Ok. I'm gonna go rent a movie, you want me to grab anything?' 'Hell yeah.'" I think you get the picture...

So tonight while watching this, Todd decided if I get Dre, he gets Bootsy Collins. He wants Bootsy to just follow him around everywhere goin' "watch out". I can dig it.

Well what were you expecting? Ozzie and Harriet? As if!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

I wonder if there is an Ozzie and Harriet of today ? lol

You know I am counting the days till EMEMEMEME shows up dead on a bathroom floor or shot outside a nightclub. The boy needs to realize that his fifteen minutes are up and he is just another whore for corporate rock or Corporate Rap in this case.

You're preaching to the wrong choir there, bud. The new CD is one of the best I've heard in a long, long time -- and I'm VERY picky about my music.

Jacob, I hate to burst your bubble here, but Eminem is a breath of fresh air in a stagnating medium. Rap has been dying slowly for the past couple of years, and Em and Dre knew it. His ability with words is amazing and the level of satire in this latest CD is amazing. If there was ever a rapper that stood against corporate Music, it was Eminem. All the other crap that has been released over the last couple of years was factory made, sealed and approved.

Jacob, learn to be a little less offensive in your comments and you can try this again... Your second comment has been removed. If Eminem were catoring to the KKK, I hardly think he'd be produced by, endorsed by, or even friends with Dre.

EMEMEM is a two-bit act that is marketing hate as a bankable entertainment value instead of actual artistic catharsis. He caters to a violent misogynist hateful vibe in teenage White America How about that?

It's great -- especially considering he wrote a song on the new CD about just that. Like I said at the beginning, you're preaching to the wrong choir.

I have said those same words, Robyn. I'd want Dre saying, "Hell yeah." and Snoop to back it up wid a "Aaah yeah."

See, I would want Jimmy 'J.J.' Walker with me to let out a few well timed 'Dun-o-mite's for emhpasis, but then I never had any delusions of being cool.

Or possibly 'Dyn-o-mite" (sigh)

On Craiggers one night, Snoop was on and they got him to say: "Ho-Hos" in his ever-so-Snoop manner. Ever since then, I've wanted him around to commentate as I people watch! LOL! (Not to mention that his name inspired my blog title!)

And I'm not a hardcore fan of Eminem, but I do like some (I would go as far to say most) of his songs. He HAS changed the world of rap for the better, and yeah, thanks to him, we have been able to put that whole Vanilla Ice fiasco to rest... ;-p
But KKK?? Mysogynestic, maybe; but hate? Nah. He's just making money like everyone else. At least he has the balls to admit it. Enrique Moleglacias blatantly wrote that horrible Hero song that still makes me cringe in disgust. Under the cover of tragedy many a dollar is made. *sigh* It's just the American way.
