The green, green grass of home
I just went out and snapped a few pics for Shutterblog before the afternoon storms roll in. With all the rain we've been getting lately (we moved here during a severe drought with forest fires this time last year) everything is really coming alive! And the last photo shows the lawn we've put in from scratch this year. We used seed rather than sod. For comparison's sake, this is what it looked like when we started this spring. Now if it would just quit raining long enough so Todd could mow it!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Those are great pics! And your grass -- WOW!! What a change! Rain, rain... go... please let Todd mow!!! hmmmmm! lol.

The grass looks terrific! And I can certainly appreciate how hard it is to get a nice lawn in Florida. The rains lately have been a bit too much to bear, but you can definitely see the difference in the flora.

Haha, you're just copying my lawn post from earlier today! (Just kidding!) Man, I wish my grass grew that beautifully - here, it's either clumpy and overridden with wild strawberries (in the shade) or brownish and dead (in the sun). I love the feel of good grass between the toes, but I don't dare walk barefoot anywhere in my yard!

AWAESOME!! Great job on the grass. I know you two worked hard on it. It paid off. Enjoy! Go roll in the grass, Claire.
