Ch...ch...changes
I don't remember the last time I opened Yahoo! and did a double-take. The change is subtle, but it's most definitely there! What do you think? I think the new look is a lot more "clean". I just wish they didn't single-handedly destroy everything they touched.

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

It's not bad and -- oh hey, I just noticed the Personal Assistant that tells me my Yahoo email address has mail. Kewl.

I think Yahoo's new style looks good. :)

I don't remember the last time I opened Yahoo! period. For a few months now I've been a Googler through and through. I hate the way when you search for something in Yahoo, you get a bunch of categories listed instead of just results, or don't they do that anymore.

The changes are only subtle, but an improvement I think. But yes, you're right Robyn, they have the midas-poo touch. Everything they touch turns to shit!!

hmm. so it's meant to be non-threatening through use of pastels and softer lines. i'm not buying it.

Don't forget yahoogroups on your destroy list. It used to be a valid way of communication and now its one big ad circus.
But yes, I do think I like their smal changes. It looks like they finally redid their logo; I remember looking at it not too long ago and thinking it must be the same semi-pixelated version that they began with - the drop shadow and more anti-aliased text looks better :)

(Hmmm, if you had pings, I might have just said all this on my site, but I know, you are waiting for that busy Ms. Christine to upgrade. Sowwy, charlie!)

Hehe, I don't use Yahoo much anymore so my double-take wouldn't have occurred for another few weeks if not for you :) I definitely like the fact that they finally redid the graphics at the top of the page. They were so pixellated that it was starting to get tacky. Looks like you have something different between Yahoo links (all the crap beneath the search box) and the directory listings - I have a Hotjobs search box. I wonder if they know that I don't have a job! ;)

Yeah, got that thrown in my face this morning! When I automatically went to hit the "e-mail" icon, I hit "shop" instead. GRRR! I need to be more accepting of change. lol. It doesn't look bad, though.

Well, I'm a yahoo slut. I still use geocities for my webpages and I use yahoo for my mail. Personally, I love it. And I think the changes are great. Heh, perdy too.

sneaky how the "email" button you click to log on is now moved and the "shop" button is in it's place. the big plan is that we will "accidently" click on it. beware, marketing brilliance at work...

I think a part of the reason for the redesign would be to make you stop and look around the site again, rather than moving your mouse to the all familiar solitary link you use on their page. 'Tis funny how the shop button is mysteriously where the email button used to be....

Am I the only one that uses Yahoo skins to have it look the way I want it to????? Hmmmmmmm...
