I really did hate the one that I had to wear at my cousins wedding.( It was last month ) Frist the dress was way to big and it kept on falling off the shoulders.Even after I had it altered,it was still falling off.They had to pin me up all over to make me look,should I dare use this word,"nice".I didn't like the color and it had this big bow thing in the back of it ! I didn't feel right at all ! I'm never going through that again !

amazing what the 80's wrought in the fashion world. argh. yeah, those dresses are...well...indescribable. vulgar comes to mind. i'm a bridesmaid in about 2 weeks and thank god we nice dresses.

I actually let my two bridesmaids pick out their dresses... I went with them, of course, but it was better that way for everyone involved. :)

After seeing these dresses, I consider myself pretty darn lucky that I've only had to be a bridesmaid on one occasion...thankfully I didn't have to wear anything near as horrid as the pics posted from that contest.

I've seen your link on several of my reads' pages, so I check your blog out from time to time. I love your pinup/Weezer skin...

Leandra, my bridesmaids got the ultimate in lucky. I gave them three colors to choose from (cream, burgundy, and forest green) and told them to pick something out of their closets in either one of the colors, or a combo of the three. That way I knew they could wear it again.

By the way, you made a beautiful bride -- and their dresses were just lovely! And Kristine, not bad at'all!

I had a lot of help from my bridesmaids in chosing there dresses I don't think they were that bad, and if they were at least I paid for them so they wouldn't be out if they never wore it again.
