Posted: 05.28.2002 Born with a silver mouse in their hand
I had to giggle while checking out the new arrivals at my online wedding store... New for hard-to-shop-for attendants: an engravable, silver-plated computer mouse. It comes in a velvet gift-box lined with satin. What will they think of next?!
My mom got me one of those mice along with a matching mousepad. Utterly useless though. I use a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 so I'm not going to use that archaic thing. It's awful and the mousepad is leather-esque, pleather looking crap which doesn't do a damn thing for an optical mouse. Avoid like the plague. It's not even USB!¤ ¤ credit: Jason D- | 05.28.02 at 05:20 PM | link- -this ¤ ¤ Ooooh how awful! Another thing to toss into the pile with all those engraved flasks collecting dust, I guess... Thanks for the review!¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 05.28.02 at 05:29 PM | link- -this ¤ ¤ Oooh, that's a cute gift idea! Even if it isn't the most useful thing, it sure would look cute in a gift box :)¤ ¤ credit: kristine | 05.28.02 at 05:32 PM | link- -this ¤ ¤ Oh! I've always wanted one of those! (I know, I'm a goof...)¤ ¤ credit: Christine | 05.28.02 at 05:35 PM | link- -this ¤ ¤ It looks like an old clunky looking thing. In the box, it actually looks like something battery operated that you'd by from an "adult shop".!!¤ ¤ credit: Joanne | 05.28.02 at 07:06 PM | link- -this ¤ ¤ It looks cool, but I noticed no USB.....YUCKO!¤ ¤ credit: Julie | 05.28.02 at 08:14 PM | link- -this ¤ ¤ I'm one of those women who look at silver-plated stuff and go, "Huh?" Now, one of those snazzy new G4 PowerMacs with the translucent-framed flat monitor (not those silly desklamp-looking iMacs), or the Sony really really small handheld computer, and I'd be quite content.¤ ¤ credit: Andrea Harris | 05.29.02 at 12:32 AM | link- -this ¤ ¤
