This one is for Susan and Sean

[Let me see that thong]

You both would never make it in Florida! This is my flip-flop collection from this year. And that doesn't even include my Tevas, Birks, sandals, and slides. I...have a problem... But at $4.99 - $10.99 a pair, at least it's a cheap "habit". And I don't even hear the "flip-flop" sound. Guess that means we really are Floridians now.

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

I love the one with the strap around the toe! And your new ones with cherries remind me of the layout I made on blueroses blog :)

I slide my sandles off the back of my feet when I walk too easy, so I like mine that have straps that go around me feet. I'll have to take some pictures tomorrow, because I have a bunch of pairs of sandles. I *think* that my weight has gone down enough that I should be able to wear some of them again. Phew!!!

Yeah you are. I was born and raised here, and to be honest, I don't even know if I have any shoes that aren't sandals of some sort, save my tennis shoes and roller skates. But that's why Targhét was invented, so I could have plenty of choices.
BTW, I'm really sorry I missed the chance to meet you and Todd. Another Goldschlager drinker is always a cool person.

What do men have against the flippies? BTW Robyn, I love your collection. My husband cannot stand flip-flops or most sandals. I still wear them but he won't. Last summer I bought him a pair of cool flip-flops with dragons on them just for running to the mailbox, out to the car or walking down the block but after 2-3 wearings they disappeared. Now I've got to either wait for him to put on his tennis shoes or just get the mail, unload the car or run the errand for myself.... Wait a minute, do you think, oh so that's why they don't wear flip-flops.

You sure do have a little collection going on there. And I get shit for living in my tevas practically!

Tevas are so yummingly comfortable. I wear mine almost everywear in the summer. I love the dressy black pair you have! :)

You crack me up!! Actually, I wear Birks quite often. It's mainly the feeling between the toe that bugs me in flip-flops... it feels dirty for some reason. But, yours are quite stylish and cute.

AHHHHHHH!!!!!! JUST SAY NO....to flip-flops! Seriously, I'd be in a hissy fit and all pouty like. Some sort of dire panic running around like Kevin in Home Alone when he splashed himself with aftershave. Odd huh? The flips on the ride side are giving me the willies but honestly, I like the black pair in the middle.

I can see you taking a stroll in the sun, wearing your flip-flops, looking up, smiling and thinking..."Screw Sean and Susan, I'm the Queen of my World MUWAHAHAHA". ;-)

I have been lurking on your site Robyn, but this deserved a posting...I am a flip-flop junkie!! Every spring I buy a bunch of new flip-flops...this year I think I bought about 6 pairs in the time lapse of about a week....so you aren't the only one with a bad "habit"!!!

Sean -- issues? Seriously dude, therapy sounds in order! I'd suggest not visiting Florida until you get some...

The negativity bug bites again - I hate flip flops.... *laughs* Probably from my childhood of Walmart shoes. Now all I can think of when I think of flip flops are the countless times I sat in my office at school trying to read for classes... but all I could concentrate on was that awful "flip-flop" sound roaming up and down the halls!

Of course, maybe someone can explain this new trand to me... girls buying jeans that are waaaaaayyy too long and then rolling up the cuffs like 3 or 4 inches so they're waaaaaaayyy too short. I don't know... I'm 29, maybe I'm just out of the loop! *grins*

I used to wear thongs as a kid, but can't stand having something in between my toes when I walk around now though. I do have one pair for when I go to the beach, but we're hundreds of kilometres away from the beach this year, so I'll have to put them away for when we move back to the coast.

Oh my goodness, Stacy posted!

AAH! Good, I'm not the only one. I'm a major flip-flop addict too. Hey, at least it's not designer shoes like Carrie's addiction on S&TC, right? Cheap, I can handle cheap. :) Happy summer!
