Posted: 05.04.2002 Catches thieves just like flies
We saw the laaaaaaaaaaate showing of Spider-Man tonight because of near-misses. And the theater had no AC. In south-central Florida. It broke during the showing just before us and they couldn't get it on again. (Thank goodness for complaint lines and free passes!) But we ended up sitting down in our seats, and who plops down next to us purely by coincidence in a 24-screen theater, but Susannah's sister Jen and her husband Eric! We haven't seen them since Thanksgiving, but they're moving up to the 'burbs near us next month. Looks like Todd's got a golfin' buddy soon -- whoo hoo!
But on to the important things in life... That movie kicked ASS! The credits rolled and I squealed like a little kid, "Do it again! Do it again!" And all I'm sayin' is we need a monsoon-style rainstorm down here real darn quick. I want one of those kisses...now. Think I could talk Todd into hanging upside-down for it? Can't wait for the Hulk in 2003, either -- what a tease with that trailer. Although, there just are no words, are there? *blows smoochies to Chris* Have a great weekend everyone! Now...I sleep. I would recommend it if you like summer action movies. It did remind me a lot of the director's other movie "Darkman", but I liked that movie too. Oh and that kiss, I think my heart caught in my throat during that kiss. -this ¤ ¤Just got back from seeing it. It was fantastic! I love the guy who played him. This really was a great flick. Michael & I will probably see it again before it leaves the theaters. Oh & did you catch Bruce Cambel in it? I soo want to see it! I mean the superman movies were, well, looking back they sucked, but in their day they were great LOTR was excellent, though I am too eager to see 2 and 3, but Spidy? This is one movie I so want to se, and not for the extremely hot babe either! I want to see how the brought the comics to life. Thanks for not spoiling it.
