Swedish Bikini Team, anyone?
I thought I'd be silly yesterday (what? quit looking at me like that!) and change all of the dates/times to Swedish just because I can in MT 2.0 now. Have you noticed, those Swedes have really silly date names? I mean today is Torsdag. C'mon. Doesn't that just smack of a town you'd take a pit-stop at somewhere in the middle of New Mexico? Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Ironically, one of my best friends has been living in Sweden for almost 3 years, but they're moving back next week!!! w00t!

I don't think you'd ever get Todd back out of that country! ;-)

Tee hee, it makes me laugh that you are in the month of Mars ;) I'm gonna have to play and see if I like any of the other options ;)

As an American of Swedish decent, your comparison of the Swedish name for Tuesday to a town in New freaking Mexico is very offensive to me. ;)

sure, they may have funny words, but nobody beats their bikini team! and hey, i'm fluent in Swedish... "skor" means shoes, and french fries are "pommes frites" (yeah, just like in french). wait, does knowing two or three words constitute "fluent"?

Actually, I think its cool... Torsdag... Seems they name their days after gods. Tors dag possibly equals Thors Day. Thor was the god of Thunder... Interesting. What in the name of Thor does Tuesday mean?

Mad Bull, here's a handy little page I just found with explanations for the names of the days of the week in several languages: http://bluemoons.cc/planets/daynames.htm

well, Wednesday is named for Odin, and Thursday is indeed named for Thor. Saturday was named for the Roman god Saturn. Wow, that mythology class in high school is finally paying off!
