Bacon! I smell Bacon!
Jo's new webring idea got us talking about our degrees of Kevin Bacon. I'm proud to say, I can get there in just three degrees. Our friend Melinda from college is Billy Zane's ("The Phantom", "Titanic") cousin. "Billy Zane has a Bacon number of 2. Billy Zane was in Back to the Future Part II (1989) with Elisabeth Shue. Elisabeth Shue was in Hollow Man (2000) with Kevin Bacon." So how close can you get?

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

hehehe... How is this... Burt Reynolds is my 7th cousin... he was in Striptease with Demi Moore, who was in A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon :-)

Years ago I hung out with Molly Ringwold in Hunington Beach for a day. (Hey we had coffee :))
here's the oracle...
The Oracle says: Molly Ringwald has a Bacon number of 2.

Molly Ringwald was in Tous les jours dimanche (1995) with Anthony Giaimo
Anthony Giaimo was in Wild Things (1998) with Kevin Bacon

please make that 1326000 links to any celebrity out there. I figure if I randomonaly meet one person the might be a chance in 1326000 that they know bacon. :)

well so far I'm only 2 degrees from the Bacon-meister using 4 celebrities I met in my office this past week (and friday). :)

i am three as well - I know Natasha Lyonne (American Pie, etc) from summer camp and she has a bacon number of 2, and this kid I grew up with, Brad Stoll was in Lost In Yonkers, which gives him a bacon number of 2 as well. :) wheeee

I'm a 2. I worked on a movie with Clint Howard who was in My Dog Skip and Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon.

ericalynn, you know natasha lyonne? damn, she's almost as hot as you!

hoopty, I remember when the Bacon game first came out, it seemed literally EVERYONE connected to Kevin Bacon through "My Dog Skip". I've never even seen the movie, but I swear it seems half of Hollywood was in it! :-)

I have a Bacon number of 3:

I worked with Cary Lawrence, who was in Snake Eyes (1998) with Kevin (I) Dunn, who was in Stir of Echoes (1999) with Kevin Bacon.

Booyah!

Hoopty, does Clint Howard look as creepy in person as he does on the big screen? The guy just gives me the willies. Good thing Ron's his brother!

My cousin worked on the movie Phenomenon which starred Kyra Sedgwick who is married to Kevin Bacon. What, does that make me a 2?

okay, i feel really inadequate with my 4 now. I'll just have to pin all my hopes on Six Degrees of Blogeration to link me to the ultimate blogger - oh hang on, I have a Robyn number of 1. I win!

i was samantha eggar's stand-in during "the phantom." does that make me a 2?

Funny thing about Clint Howard is that, yeah, he is freaky looking, but he's actually pretty mellow. I think it's probably due to the fact that he's been around so long. He didn't even give me grief when I told him he looked like that "tranya" kid on Star Trek (he was, by the way).
My Dog Skip was one of those flicks that everyone was involved with. They shopped it around to a bunch of post houses before settling and I think they spent close to 8 months in the edit bay. That right there will do wonders for a movie's mileage.

I met Kevin Bacon on the opening night performance of "Twelfth Night" on Broadway (he came to see Kyra Sedgwick; FYI he was there with Hank Azaria who came for Helen Hunt, who also starred). What does that make me? (P.S. He was very gracious and polite.)
